Acupuncture is an effective from of medical treatment developed in China over 5,000 years ago.  Acupuncture promotes health and alleviates sickness through the stimulation of anatomical points by the use of superficially inserted thin needles.  It allows for a stronger immune system, enhanced physical and emotional health, and improves overall well-being.

Electro-Acupuncture

A form of acupuncture where a small electrical current is applied between pairs of needles.  Electro-stimulation is used to augment the treatment.  It has been proven that electro-acupuncture decreases acute pain, reduces inflammation and accelerates the healing process.

Cupping 

Cupping is a technique from Traditional Chinese Medicine, where a partial vacuum is created inside a warm cup, placed on the skin.  The negative pressure draws up the skin and underlying tissue.  Thus, stimulating blood flow in the area to disperse congestion and inflammation.

Tui Na

 

Tui Na is a therapeutic massage. This hands-on body treatment relieves musculoskeletal pain, inflammation, injuries and the daily-stress associated tension.  Tui Na is commonly used in conjunction with acupuncture to achieve a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
